Art, design, nature, and storytelling have never been far from what I do.
I grew up on Gunaikurnai Country, on the border of South Gippsland's rolling hills and Latrobe Valley's mining industry.
My childhood was spent exploring in the bush and making things. My dad (an Irish wordsmith) very slowly and meticulously built our mudbrick home around us, whilst my mum, a community arts and social worker, made some evocative art that spoke closely to life and death.
Photography for me is as much a spiritual practice as a creative one - allowing light to do its thing and paying close attention to the wonder and magic of this world. Grief and a yearning to be with the aliveness of this world find their way through, too.
I’ve always seen the world in stories. As a lover of photos, words, and nicely aligned text, I also find particular joy in creating bespoke books and publications.
If you've got a project in mind, or want to be captured by my way of seeing the world, get in touch. I’d love to hear from you.

I acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the lands on which I mostly live, work and play - the Wurundjeri Woiwurrung people of the Kulin Nation and the Brayakaulung people of the Gunaikurnai Nation, where I grew up and return to often. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and recognise their continued connection to Country and culture, and as the first and most enduring storytellers of these lands. Sovereignty was never ceded. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
